Hope my freelance career picks up soon because I had a fight with my boss today. He wanted me to send him my goals for this year. I told him I would improve the quality of my design by at least 20 percent and learn new skills every day. That wasn't good enough for him. He wanted more details. I went into his office to discuss it and he could not think of one measurable goal I could possibly have as a designer. I told him if he wanted to fire me for not doing something that was absurd and impossible, go ahead. Then I Googled for Web Design goals and found a blog post from a designer on her goals and I just cut and pasted and emailed that to him.
